Sunday Save Your A$$ Parlay: 2023 US Open

Sunday Save Your Ass Parlay

What’s Up, Golf Addicts?

First off, let me say Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. What a fantastic day to sit down on the couch and watch the final round of the US Open until 9:30pm (on the East Coast). LACC has been a mixed set of emotions thus far. The golfers began the week attacking but the course fought back with some fast and firm defense. Some of the players haven’t been happy with the course setup, and have been vocal about the fan attendance this week as well. All of that aside, we are looking forward to a special Sunday in California, so why not lock in a parlay to finish the week strong!

Rickie's Redemption

Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark have been atop the leaderboard all week and I don’t expect that to change on the final day. Rory, Scottie Scheffler, and Dustin Johnson are all in the hunt as well. If the play continues to trend as it has each day, there is good reason to believe we can see guys move up and down the leaderboard.

The winning golfer is going to get their birdies on the front nine and have minimal mistakes on the treacherous back nine holes. If the leaders play defensive golf, I think we can see some of the chasing golfers post numbers and put the pressure on. This week I’m targeting two golfers who have been strong off the tee, have limited mistakes, and are within a stroke of the cashing finishing position coming into Sunday.

Remember to check your sportsbook offers for boosts to drive up the final number for the parlay!

Finishing Position Picks to Parlay

Top 10: Viktor Hovland (+150 DraftKings)

Viktor Hovland came into the Open as a heavy favorite but hasn’t been able to take full advantage of the front nine this week. He sees himself sitting at 2-under par and in round 3 he gained strokes across the board and was top-5 SG: Off-The-Tee. I like Hovland to keep the momentum from round 3 and work his way up the leaderboard and cash a top-10 for us.

Top 20: Tyrrell Hatton (+110 DraftKings)

After a brutal first round, which saw Hatton lose almost 2 strokes to the field putting, the fiery Brit bounced back on Friday and Saturday, shooting under par in both and climbing the leaderboard. In round 3, Hatton gained strokes across the board and also was 1-under par on the difficult back nine holes. We know from last week that Hatton can push the leaderboard on Sunday and go low on difficult courses. I like him to maintain his pace and cash us a top-20.

The US Open Sunday Parlay: +501 on DraftKings

I hope you all enjoy the last day at LACC. We are in store for an awesome finish filled with storylines and the sports best players. We’ve also seen some of these golfers not be able to close when it counts and with a back 9 this difficult, the winning golfer will need to overcome some hurdles and make clutch putts to bring home the major championship. Fire up the Hovland/Hatton combo and let’s make some cash! GET YOUR PICKS IN ON DRAFTKINGS SOON TO GET THE BEST ODDS FOR THE SUNDAY PARLAY. TAKE THOSE UNITS BACK! (2.5 UNITS TO WIN 12.52 UNITS)
