LPGA TOUR Draftkings Picks and Bets for the Pelican Women's Championship 2021

Pelican Women's Championship Draftkings Picks and Bets 2021

Welcome back to another episode of the semi periodic, badly grammered, and. unlawfully punctuated. LPGA Picks and Bets. We did hit the winner last time out as Jin Young Ko (granted it was a terrible 5/1 bet that was fairly obvious and impossible to make a profit off but I did tell you that) fought back from her first round in the 70s in what feels like decades finishing the week off with rounds of 64-67-64 but even with that she still had to contend in a playoff with Hee Jeong Lim who has been a quite a run on the KLPGA in her own right. Said playoff didn’t last very long though as Ko birdied the first hole to seal the deal, capping of a run of three wins a second and a sixth.

We’re down to the penultimate event of the LPGA season. Heading down to Belleair, FL (No relation to Bel Air, CA) the Pelican golf club is a Par 70 that saw Sei Young Kim take its inaugural trophy at 14 under par last year which bested second by three. Definitely some tougher scoring than the last few weeks. So in my highly scientific quantitative analysis of this field I’m leaning towards whoever golfs their ball better than the field having the best chance to win.

Short Odds

Lydia Ko - 9/1 (DK $10600)

Back in the winner circle last time out on the LET in Saudi Arabia, quietly putting together a fantastic season in the shadows of Nelly and Jin Young Ko. Let’s see if she can nab one more trophy before the tour championship.

Mid Range

Jessica Korda - 25/1 (DK $8800)

Well if I would have written this article in a timely fashion you would have got her at 35/1 but the number has crashed since. Back to back top 6s and the Korda last name will do that. I’m still in.

Lexi Thompson - 28/1 ($9200)

But Marcus all you’re choosing so far this article are big name ladies golfers. Well that’s because they are all playing pretty damn well. Lexi seems to be over the US Open final round with three top 12s in last four events.

A Lim Kim - 50/1 (DK $8100)

The 2020 US Open winner has struggled to find her footing on American soil since but that seems to have taken a turn at the Cognizant Cup. She followed that up in South Korea with a third. We know she can win.

Long Shots

Caroline Masson - 100/1 (DK $7000)

Runner up at the Cognizant Cup. 55th at Aramco in NY. 12th here last year 100/1? sign me up.

Jaye Marie Green - 200/1 (DK $7000)

Yolo.
