Betting the LPGA Amundi Evian Championship
After a few weeks off for the LPGA tour and then a team event, we are finally back! I'm ready to kick this run of European events than the FOURTH Major of the season. I don't have much else to say here as I don't think anyone wants a recap of the team event you couldn't play on Draftkings. So lets get to the course and a shortish number card for this week as we will be picking a winner*.

This week we are at the Evian Resort Golf Club in  Évian-les-Bains, France. The Par 71 is going to play around 6,400 depending on set up. This course has been on the LPGA Major schedule since 2000. The course does present some challenges, mainly protected by its tight tree lined fairway and the fast, contouring greens. The winning score even with those defenses has consistently ended up in the mid-teens though. Think accurate off the tee, good irons and can make a clutch putt. Anyways now taking that into consideration and doing my highly scientific quantitative analysis of this field breaking down the stats and building my models. I'm leaning towards whoever golfs their ball better than the field will have the best chance to win.

Jessica Korda / 28/1 / $8600 - Big Sis Jess has been on a run of good golf lately 3 top 10's in her last 4 starts. She has fought some back issues this season but with the time off between the PGA and last week should have done her some good.
Linn Grant / 35/1 / $9100 - The Swede has taken the LET by storm this year with only ONE finish outside of 7th including three wins in nine starts a great follow up to the incredible 2021 she had as well.
Jennifer Kupcho / 35/1 / $8400 - A true breakout season with three wins on the year including major. She is now returning to a place where she finished runner up in her first appearance with how she's playing I don't know how shes still 35/1
Georgia Hall/ 40/1 / $8100 - Been playing Ok golf recently. I'm taking her playing in the Celebration of Champions with Tiger, Rory and Trevino then add in Jack for the group picture on the Swilcan bridge as the fuel in the fire for her to win her second major.
