Sunday Save Your A$$ Parlay: 2023 RBC Canadian Open

Sunday Save Your Ass Parlay

What’s up, Addicts!

Vince “Money” Marg here for this week’s Save You’re A$$ Sunday Parlay. The first three days at Oakdale C.C. were an interesting mix of low-scoring rounds, carnage off the tee, and some added weather on Friday that played a factor for some golfers. The fans in Canada have come out to support the Tour this week and they have not disappointed. The leaderboard coming into Sunday is stacked with some name brands and some hometown heroes trying to snap the drought for a Canadian winner. Today will be a race to the finish and we will see some exciting golf as we head into the next major.

A RACE TO THE FINISH IN CANADA!

CT Pan shot a 64 on Saturday to give him the outright 54-hole lead. He has a two-shot lead on the pack but needs to be perfect off-the-tee and with his irons on Sunday if he stands a chance to hold off the heavy hitters chasing him.

Rory and Tommy Fleetwood have both looked tremendous this week. Both golfers have hot putters, and we know what they can do with the driver so I expect both the push for the win. Right there with them are Justin Rose, fan-favorite Harry Higgs, and Canadian golfers Corey Conners and Nick Taylor. We’ve seen the leaderboard change frequently this week and the winner will need to shoot a very low score to bring home the victory. This week I’m targeting three golfers within 2 strokes of the cashing finishing position to save our Sundays.

Finishing Position Picks to Parlay

Winner: Tommy Fleetwood (+550 DraftKings)

Tommy Lad has been great this week and his play leading up to the Canadian Open has been improving. If he can hold off a Sunday push from Rory, the Englishman should get his first PGA Tour win. On the week, Fleetwood’s numbers have been solid and he’s figured something out with the putter, as he’s second in the field for the week. On Saturday, Tommy also was first in SG: Off-The-Tee, so that good play with the driver to continue and carry the lad to Victory.

Top 5: Corey Conners (+250 DraftKings)

The Canadian star came into this week as one of the few guys at the top of the betting board. We all know what Conners can do ball-striking, and we’ve seen him win this season with a good final round at the Valero. On the week he is second in SG: Tee-to-Green and if he can gain a tiny bit with the putter he should push the pack and cash in at least a Top-5 for us. Conners currently sits at 10-under par with some studs in front of him, so it will be interesting to see if he can post a low score and put pressure on the rest of the leaderboard.

The Canadian Open Sunday Parlay: +2012 on DraftKings

The final day in Toronto looks to be exciting, with a group of world-class players chasing down CT Pan. There are some rain and clouds in the forecast so the course might play softer and wind gusts might be a factor for the later groupings. We’ve seen Rory have massive Sundays in the Canadian Open and the same could very well happen today, which should boost his confidence heading into a major week. This week is tracking to be all Tommy Fleetwood. I love the hot putter and he’s no stranger to being in final groups. GET YOUR PICKS IN ON DRAFTKINGS SOON TO GET THE BEST ODDS FOR THE SUNDAY PARLAY.
