Nordea Masters – Hills GC – Gothenburg – Sweden

After a short break and a chance to kick back and enjoy the final major of the year its great to be back with a little Euro Golf DFS in the offering.

A new course will host this years Nordea Masters, and what a stunner Hills GC appears to be.  This will also be the first time they would of hosted anything of this nature and to be quiet honest it sounds like it this opportunity is long overdue.

This highly rated championship course designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest and later tweaked by Johan Edfors seems to have everything to offer and will no doubt provide a lot of viewing pleasure this week.

The course stretches its potential 7,500 yards across a hilly rugged terrain that works its way into woodland, across marshland and onto rocky outcrops, described to have a blend that offers the golfer an experience of playing a course with varied styling and consequently a varied challenge as the round progresses. Some holes wouldn’t look to out of place if located in Surrey, England where as others you may even associate with a styling more commonly found in Florida.
