Wyndham Championship 2020 | 10 Key Stats

The PGA Tour heads to Sedgefield Country Club this week for the Wyndham Championship. If you’re betting on the golf action this week or playing DFS on DraftKings or FanDuel, then these key stats are a critical starting point for your research. I’ve only included the players in this week’s field for reference. As always, all of the stats are courtesy our friends at Fantasy National Golf Club.

Sedgefield is a Donald Ross design and a stereotypical southern track set in Greensboro, NC. Driving accuracy and sharp approach play has a proven track record over the years as these severely undulating bermuda greens can be tricky if you don’t land it in the right spots. The greens are large, fast and will look extremely different from what we saw last week at TPC Harding Park. With past winners like Webb, Reed, Snedeker and Poston, clearly being savvy on and around the greens translates at Sedgefield. Alrighty, let’s get cracking!

1. Strokes gained tee to green from last years Wyndham: 1. Poston 2. Si Woo 3. Simpson 4. Casey 5. Conners 6. Sabbatini 7. Piercy 8. Kokrak 9. Landry 10. Harman

2. Historical GIR leaders are Sedgefield (min 8 rounds)d: 1. Garcia 2. Furyk 3. Lowry 4. Conners 5. CT Pan 6. Herman 7. Kang 8. Sabbatini 9. Dufner 10. Kokrak

4. If I make a custom model with courses that are less than 7200 yards, bermuda greens, and easy scoring, your top 10 in total strokes gained are: 1. Simpson 2. Knox 3. Ancer 4. Rose 5. CH3 6. Todd 7. Landry 8. Glover 9. Cook 10. Cauley

5. If I make another model with JUST strokes gained ball striking on courses that are less than 7200 yards, easy scoring, and easy to average difficulty in hitting fairways: 1. Koepka 2. Redman 3. Ancer 4. Moore 5. Glover 6. Simpson 7. Conners 8. Duncan 9. Rose 10. Si Woo
