I read some reviews on this show and people were just dogging on these guys, I just dont get it. I mean the fact that they are still kicking after 40 some odd years is just amazing, really kind of unbelievable.

I remember the first time I saw these guys (and it was not with Jerry) I was pretty blown away. I had the time of my life that night. In fact, I had the time of my life every time I saw them, which is probably why I initially blew off college and became a tour rat.

The Brown Eyed Woman and Comes a Time were great.  Throwing Stones is always nice, probably my favorite to see  them play, well one of them at least. The rest of the show rocked as well.

Here is the Greensboro show from the 12th that someone just shared with me. I’m listening to this as I write this post and it really is  good stuff. They are tearin’ it up right from the start!

Madison Square Garden has always been an extravagant place for the Dead to play, even today. After reading some reviews of people that went to this show, I wished that I had been there. Really good stuff. At least we have the internet these days and can hear this stuff as soon as its put to disc right?
